Maps & Location Information

DISPA processes pickup and delivery addresses to display orders and routes on maps.

For drivers, DISPA may collect and process precise location information while they have an active transport (a load in "Picked Up" or "In Transit" status). With the driver's permission, location may continue to be collected when the app is running in the background, but only while an active load exists. Background tracking stops automatically when the driver has no active loads.

Driver location is shared with the following recipients:

  • Assigned Dispatcher — sees the driver's precise location, name, and email.
  • Company Owner linked to that Dispatcher — sees the driver's precise location, name, email, and active load details (vehicle, pickup and delivery addresses, and status).
  • Customers who purchased Live Tracking VIP — see only an approximate, privacy-protected location (never the driver's precise GPS, name, phone, or exact street addresses).

Background location is used only for active transportation and operational tracking features. Drivers can stop sharing at any time from the in-app Location settings, by revoking location permission in their device settings, or by disconnecting from their Dispatcher. Location tracking ends when it is no longer required for the active transport or when the applicable tracking function is stopped.

Location information may be shared only with the authorized users described above and with service providers necessary to operate mapping and location features.
